The Wabakimi Project is grateful to those who generously contribute information about the canoe routes that they have travelled in Wabakimi Provincial Park and on the adjacent Crown lands. Their support helps extend the scope of our efforts to monitor and maintain these remote, wilderness routes.

Contributors plan and outfit their own self-directed trips, choose their own routes and provide detailed reports about the condition of portages and campsites, wildlife sightings, hazards and obstacles and signs of recent human activity they encounter during their travels. Since 2009, contributors' routes have been indicated in red on the route maps published annually on the Trip Summaries page.

The Wabakimi Project acknowledges the contributions of these individuals and invites others to support this worthwhile effort. Contact us to learn how to participate in this exciting aspect of our program.
